37023
37023 "Stratford Major Depot" is in the latter stages of getting finished. Lighting has been fitted and the loco just needs Bufferbeams built before I varnish & weather it.
37503 - VERY close to being finished. Final detailing & weathering are all this one needs before it's in the active fleet!

47581. I bought this loco already weathered, but the bufferbeams were not detailed or repainted from Heljan's standard black plastic. I've now done this and it needs a little frame dirt sprayed to complete.

47750 just needs a bit of varnish then detailing. It's amazing how "stripped out" these 47s can look until they're detailed. This model was bought online earlier this year, but was in a very poor state having been rather over-enthusiastically "weathered". It was stripped back to basic livery elements hence the Identity change.
86210
86210 "CIT 75th Anniversary" - In the very late stages of being worked on. This loco only really needs TDM jumper cables, glazing & a pantograph before I mount it on it's chassis.

86261 "The Rail Charter Partnership" - Again in the very late stages of being worked on. This loco only really needs TDM jumper cables, glazing & a pantograph before I mount it on it's chassis. This loco was in fact one of my very first respray/detail jobs, but It just wasn't up to my modern standards. It's the first of my fleet to have undergone a "full refurb", whereby I stripped the loco back to bare shell, re-detailed the fronts & the roof, and then resprayed it.

a close-up of the rear of 47528 shows the "1111" numbers it carried during it's later years, and the Lime bogie sideframes betray it's origins.
All isn's as it seems here! 47484 is what this fine example will end up as. The underframe tanks have been changed, one end flush-filed, and both ends resprayed to match. Just awaiting name & numberplates and final detailing.

Another "no prizes for guessing what this is going to be" loco. one of my 20/3 convertions has been on the shelf a while. I really must get it done.

Another project. I've a bunch of Parkside "Clams" that just need painting. As anyone who's ever tried to spray any of these will know, "difficult" isn't *quite* the right word when masking them for spraying correctly into CE "Dutch" livery. An ongoing project, I think I may have solved th problem, but watch this space!

DC Kits Class 89 - Obviously heading rapidly towards the livery that in my opinion suited it the most - IC Swallow.

During the summer I bought for a rather large sum, a pair of much less than perfect EMUs. One of which was this 319. It'll be a slow process, but will hopefully come off the bench sometime next year in the same livery, but with a decent chassis and much much better detail along with (hopefully) working directional lighting!

During the summer I bought for a rather large sum, a pair of much less than perfect MTK EMUs. One of which was this 455. Seen here with one driving car stripped of paint and detail.

I'm still clasifying this one as OMWB as it's not weathered yet, but it's incredibly close to being finished. Lima 47528 is mounted on a Bachmann 37 chassis with various heljan detailing bits and Hornby Chassis frames believe it or not!

No prizes for what this is going to be! 83301 in early stages of convertion.

Wagons - 2 HGA "Gunnells" Prior to being resprayed. These Examples are Lima PGAs converted using the A1 convertion kit. With a little plasticard, one kit will convert 2 wagons.
Weathering the Hornby ZKV makes it nearly look reasonable. One done, one not.
